# Search results prices load gradually

On the search results page, prices may take a moment to appear, filling in one listing at a time.

**Why this happens.** Each price is a live quote from your PMS for the exact dates searched. Quotes are requested one listing at a time, so a search across many listings sends one request per listing, and the prices appear as the answers arrive.

The website keeps each quote for five minutes, so repeating the same search loads faster. This behavior is the same on staging and on the live site.
