# Local guide entries keep coming back

You move a Things To Do or local guide entry in WordPress to **Drafts** or **Trash**, and it reappears on your site a few minutes later.

**Why this happens.** Your local guide entries (Places to Eat, Activities, and similar) are pulled from your Hostfully Guidebooks account through the HomeRunner for Guidebooks sync. The sync runs every few minutes and re-publishes any place that still exists in Hostfully. Any change you make to those entries in WordPress, such as drafting or trashing them, is overwritten on the next sync.

**Managing your local guide.** Make your changes in the Hostfully Guidebooks dashboard, and your website follows.

**Removing a place from your site.**

1. Delete the place in Hostfully.
2. Move the entry to the **Trash** in WordPress.

The sync leaves alone any place that no longer exists in Hostfully, so the removal sticks.

Entries you create directly in WordPress are not part of the sync and stay exactly as you set them.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
