# Slow property pages on a fast site

If your property pages load slowly while the rest of your site is fast, the HomeRunner plugins on your site may be out of date.

**Why this happens.** Older versions of the Conversion Kit set a visitor cookie on every property-page view. That cookie prevents those pages from being served by your host's page cache, so each view is rebuilt from scratch. Current versions no longer set this cookie.

**What to do.** Make sure the HomeRunner plugins on your site are up to date. Once they are updated, repeat property-page views are served from cache at normal speed.

If the plugins page in WordPress shows no available updates for HomeRunner plugins for a long time, that can itself be a symptom. For example, plugin folders renamed during past troubleshooting stop updates from being detected. In that case, contact support to have the update path restored.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
