# Guest addresses appearing in Guesty notes

Guest addresses collected at checkout may appear in Guesty notes instead of the guest profile address fields.

**Why this happens.** This is caused by a platform-side defect in how reservations were sent to Guesty. The correction took effect on 2026-07-12. Bookings made after it write the street, city, state, zip, and country into Guesty's structured guest address fields. No plugin update or action on your part is required.

**Confirming on your account.** Place a test booking with the address fields filled in, then check the guest profile in Guesty.

**Older bookings.** Addresses from bookings made before the correction remain in the notes text and are not moved automatically.
