# Cloudflare Bot Fight Mode blocks content sync

If your content and property updates stop appearing on your site after a change to your Cloudflare settings, Cloudflare's Bot Fight Mode may be the cause.

**Why this happens.** Bot Fight Mode can block the platform's content-sync deliveries to your site. When this happens, updates silently stop arriving.

**What you can do.** Disable Bot Fight Mode in your Cloudflare dashboard under **Security > Bots > Bot Fight Mode**.

If you want to keep some bot protection in place, Cloudflare's free tier supports up to 5 custom firewall rules. You can configure these rules to allow the platform's sync traffic through while still challenging suspicious requests. Contact support for help setting those rules up.
