# Property order reversed despite sticky tags

You have numbered your properties with [sticky] tags, but they display on your site in reverse order.

**Why this happens.** Third-party "custom post order" plugins, such as Simple Custom Post Order, and custom code snippets that force a sort order on properties conflict with the built-in ordering. This can display your property list backwards.

**What to do.** If your order appears exactly reversed:

1. Remove the property post type from the settings of any such plugin.
2. Deactivate any snippet that forces properties to sort by menu order.

The built-in [sticky] ordering then comes through as intended.
