# Widget buttons not matching your brand colors

Your HomeRunner widget buttons appear plain blue instead of matching your site's brand colors. This is expected behavior.

**Why this happens.** HomeRunner widgets are style-isolated from your theme so that theme updates can never break the booking flow. This also means your theme's global button styles do not automatically apply inside widgets. A plain blue button means no widget styling has been added yet.

**How to brand the widgets.** Add custom CSS that targets the widget's own button classes, for example:

```css .uk-scope .hk-button-primary { background-color: #YOURBRAND; color: #fff; } .uk-scope .hk-button-primary:hover { background-color: #YOURHOVER; } .uk-scope .hk-button-default { color: #YOURBRAND; border-color: #YOURBRAND; }```
Use your theme's existing button colors as the values so the widgets match the rest of your site. The same approach works for the booking widget container, checkout buttons, and date-picker modal buttons. HomeRunner's published styling documentation lists the available selectors.
