# Automated guest emails from the wrong sender

Your automated guest emails show a sender address you do not expect.

**Why this happens.** If no sender is set explicitly, the emails fall back to the WordPress site's administration email address. On sites that changed hands, were built by an outside agency, or were migrated, that address is frequently still someone else's.

**How to fix it.**

1. Go to **Conversion Kit**, then the **Emails** screen.
2. Open the brand kit (branding) settings.
3. Set **From Name** to the business name your guests will recognize.
4. Set **From Email** to a real, monitored mailbox on your business's own domain.
5. Optionally, set a **Reply-To** address if replies should go somewhere different from the sending address.
6. Save, then send a test and check the sender shown in the received message.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
