# Guesty mandatory fees missing from website quotes

Mandatory additional fees can show correctly in Guesty and still be missing from the booking quotes on your website.

**Why this happens.** Your website books through Guesty's Booking Engine API, which appears in Guesty's fee settings as its own channel named "BE-API". This is a separate row from "Guesty booking engine". Each additional fee has a **Sync Fee with channels** panel (in the fee's settings, under **Advanced capabilities / Manual sources**) where every channel has its own on/off toggle plus **Include in Fare** and **Deduct from fare** options. If the BE-API row is switched off for a fee, that fee syncs to Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and the Guesty booking engine but never reaches your website's quotes, even when the fee is mandatory.

**How to fix it.**

1. Open the fee in Guesty (**Financials → Additional Fees**, or the listing's **Additional Fees** section).
2. Find the **Sync Fee with channels** panel.
3. Switch the **BE-API** row on for each mandatory fee.

**Choosing how the fee appears.** **Include in Fare** folds the fee into the accommodation price as one bundled number and taxes it with the rent. **Deduct from fare** shows the fee as its own line item in the price breakdown.

Changes take effect on new quotes right away, so you can verify the fix by running a quote on your website immediately.
