# Central API Response Error emails for hrtk-readiness

You may receive 'Central API Response Error' emails about a quote called hrtk-readiness returning a 404. No booking is failing.

**Why this happens.** The identifier hrtk-readiness is a placeholder the HomeRunner Toolkit uses for its Booking Readiness check. This check runs once an hour to confirm your checkout page is reachable. Older Toolkit versions send that placeholder to the booking service as if it were a real quote, which produces the 404 and triggers the error email.

**What you can do.** Update the HomeRunner Toolkit to version 3.288.0 or later. This stops the emails, and the readiness check itself continues to run normally.

**Telling real errors apart.** Real booking errors always carry an actual quote ID and a guest's referrer page, never hrtk-readiness.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
