# Signed rental agreement acceptance in Guesty

When a guest accepts your rental agreement at checkout, the signed acceptance is recorded on the reservation and carried into Guesty as the reservation's guest note. The note reads, for example, "[Rental Agreement: accepted - signed: <name>]" and appears ahead of any message the guest typed at checkout.

**Drawn signatures.** If the guest draws a signature, the signature image is stored on your website's backend, where you can view it per reservation. Guesty receives only the text confirmation line.

**What you will not see in Guesty.** This is a text record in Guesty, separate from Guesty's own pre-check-in e-sign documents. The signature does not appear anywhere in Guesty's **Documents** section, because Guesty's API offers no way for an outside system to place files there.
