# Changing the property or room name

The property or room name shown on your HomeRunner site comes from your PMS listing, not from WordPress.

**Where the name comes from.** By default, the page title is the listing's public name. The plugin can also read the title from a custom field on the listing instead. In Hostaway, for example, you can create a custom field such as a "Room Name" field and point the plugin to it using the **property title source** setting.

**Changing a displayed name.**

1. Edit the public name, or the relevant custom field, in your PMS.
2. Run a manual sync, or wait for the next scheduled sync.

The page URL (slug) stays the same unless you also change the **slug source** setting.

If you edit the WordPress post title directly, your change is overwritten on the next sync.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
