# Failed-payment alert email recipients

By default, failed-payment alerts go to your site's WordPress admin email address. On many sites, that address is not a monitored inbox.

**To change the recipient:**

1. In the WordPress dashboard, open the HomeRunner settings and go to the **Emails** section.
2. Find the collapsible section named **New Reservation Failed Payment - Admin Mail**. It has an **Enable Email** checkbox and a **Recipients** field that accepts a comma-separated list of email addresses.
3. In **Recipients**, enter the address of the team that handles reservations, for example your bookings or front-desk inbox.
4. Save your changes.

**Guest email.** The same screen also has a guest-facing version of this email, **New Reservation Failed Payment** for the guest, which asks the guest to update their payment information. Check that it is enabled too so your guests are prompted automatically.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
