# Reporting intermittent critical errors to your host

If your site shows intermittent critical errors, a general report such as 'the site is slow' gives your hosting provider little to work with. Ask your host for two specific things instead.

1. The slow query log entries for the exact UTC time windows when the errors appeared, including query text, query time, lock time, and rows examined. Site owners normally cannot read this file themselves, so your host has to produce it.
2. Confirmation of what the server's own logs show during those same windows.

When you report the issue, give your host precise timestamps and note whether the errors cluster during quiet hours or busy hours.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
