# Site ownership transfer after a company purchase

If you buy an existing vacation rental company whose website HomeRunner manages, hosting for the site can continue under your ownership.

**How the transition works.** Support handles the change of ownership in two stages:

1. Support confirms the handoff with the previous owner in writing.
2. Support schedules a short call with you to transfer account access and billing into your name.

Your website and any property management integrations continue running normally throughout the process.

**Getting started.** After you complete the purchase, let support know, and the transition can begin right away.
