# Combining featured-only and location filters

If you combine a featured-only filter with a location filter on a destination that has no featured properties, the section is empty.

Within a location-filtered section, featured homes sort first by default, so you get that behavior without adding a featured-only setting. Only combine both filters if you know the destination has at least one property marked as featured.
