# Google Analytics tracking: information support needs

To add Google Analytics tracking to your site, support needs your GA4 Measurement ID, which starts with G-.

**Finding your Measurement ID.** Follow these steps:

1. Sign in at analytics.google.com.
2. Go to **Admin**, then **Data Streams**.
3. Open the web stream for your site.
4. Copy the Measurement ID shown at the top of the stream details.

Send that G- code to support to have it added to your site.

**If you do not have a web data stream.** If no web data stream exists yet for your domain, or you prefer that support handle the setup end to end, add support as a user on your Google Analytics account instead. Go to **Admin**, then **Account access management**, and assign the **Editor** role. Support then creates the data stream, connects your site, and confirms that data is arriving.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
