# Which photo becomes the featured image

Each property's featured image in WordPress comes from a photo in your PMS, based on a setting in HomeRunner.

**Choosing the source.** In **HomeRunner sync settings**, the **Featured image** option offers two choices: **Main Image**, which is the picture your PMS designates as the main one, or **1st Gallery Image**, which is the first photo in your PMS gallery order.

**How the sync applies it.** The featured image is applied each time the property syncs. This happens whether the sync is triggered by an update pushed from your PMS or by clicking the **Sync** button on the property in wp-admin.

If you change the featured image manually in WordPress, it reverts to the configured source photo on the next sync. If you reorder photos in your PMS, the featured image moves on the next sync.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
