# Pricing display options compared

The pricing display options differ in which rate your guests see.

**Base Nightly Rate** shows the static base rate.

**Lowest Price** displays a highly competitive rate. It can sometimes set unrealistic expectations for guests if that rate is rarely available.

**Average Price** offers a more realistic baseline. It can be skewed higher if there are significant pricing spikes in your future calendar.

For both **Lowest Price** and **Average Price**, you can restrict the calculation to a specific forward-looking window. This gives you better control and filters out extreme outliers.
