# Searchbar Pro sticky bar hidden under navbar

If your site has a sticky navigation bar, the Searchbar Pro sticky search bar can end up hidden under it. You can move the search bar down with the **Sticky bar top offset** setting.

To set the offset:

1. Update HomeRunner Toolkit to version 3.250.0 or newer.
2. In the WordPress admin, go to **HomeRunner Toolkit > Searchbar Pro** and find the sticky bar settings next to **Sticky bar backdrop**.
3. Set **Sticky bar top offset** to the height of your navigation bar in pixels (for example, 80).
4. Save.

The pinned search bar, the expanded search drawer, and the in-page search bar on the results page all shift down by that amount. The bar pins as soon as it reaches the bottom edge of the navigation bar.

**Headers that reappear only when scrolling up.** If your header is set to reappear only when scrolling up (in YOOtheme: Sticky, "Show on up"), also tick **Offset only while the navigation shows**. The search bar then moves down only while the navigation bar is visible and returns to the top when the navigation bar slides away. This option requires a YOOtheme (UIkit) sticky header. On other themes, the offset stays on permanently.

**Automatic measurement.** Since Toolkit 3.333.0, leaving the offset at 0 measures the sticky header automatically on desktop. Set a value only when you want to override that measurement.

This setting only affects desktop. The mobile layout is not affected.
