# AI Concierge chatbot stopped appearing

The AI Concierge chatbot was working on your site and then stopped appearing after about 30 days. The detail page chat and other features may still work, because they are handled differently.

**Why this happens.** The AI Concierge verifies its license on a regular schedule. On some hosting environments, that scheduled check does not run reliably. The plugin includes a 30-day grace period after installation or upgrade. When that grace period runs out without a successful license check, the chatbot stops loading on the site.

**The fix.** A fix is available that makes the license check much more resilient. It no longer depends solely on the server's task scheduler and can verify the license during normal site activity. After the fix is applied, the chatbot should stay active continuously.
