# AI Concierge chat field looks squashed

On some sites, the AI Concierge chat message field appears squashed or styled incorrectly.

**Why this happens.** Some WordPress themes apply their own styling to all text inputs on the page. In AI Search Enhancer versions before 1.115.0, this theme styling can override the chat widget's styling.

**How to fix it.** Update the HomeRunner AI Search Enhancer plugin to version 1.115.0 or later. From that version, the chat field keeps its intended size and styling regardless of theme CSS, and it still follows your configured brand colors. After updating, hard-refresh the page (**Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+R**) to load the new styles.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
