# Controlling which Guesty listings appear

When you connect Guesty, you can limit which listings appear on your website either by restricting the Booking Engine API key to specific listings or by using a tag.

**Recommended approach.** Give the Booking Engine API key access to all listings you may ever want on the website, then apply a tag to each listing you want to appear. HomeRunner filters by that tag.

**Why not restrict the key.** If the key covers only a subset of listings, every new listing requires editing the key, which is easy to forget. A listing outside the key cannot sync no matter how it is tagged. Managing visibility through a tag is simpler to maintain over time.
