# Conversion Tracking: Facebook Pixel ID with GTM

If your GTM container already runs the Meta pixel, leave the **Facebook Pixel ID** field in the **Conversion Tracking** module blank.

**Why this matters.** When two copies of the pixel are active at the same time, every event is counted twice.
