# Mobile search: stop calendar opening after destination

On a phone, when a guest picks a destination in the search bar, the calendar opens automatically. You can change this so the search bar stays on the destination step.

**Why this happens.** The setting that controls this behavior, added in Toolkit 3.320.0, is on by default. The calendar keeps opening after a destination is picked until you turn it off.

**How to change it.**

1. In WordPress admin, go to **HomeRunner Toolkit > Searchbar Pro > Behavior**.
2. Untick **Mobile: dates after destination** (labeled **Open the calendar after a destination is picked**).
3. Save.

After that, tapping a destination on a phone fills in the **Where** field and stays on that step. The guest can search immediately or tap **When** to add dates manually.

**On desktop.** The equivalent setting is called **Chained fields**. Turning it off stops the destination step from automatically opening the dates step, and also stops the dates step from opening the guest picker.
