# Hospitable checkout on your own domain

If your site is connected to Hospitable, guests leave your website to complete checkout.

**Why this happens.** With Hospitable as your PMS, checkout always runs on Hospitable's hosted booking page (booking.hospitable.com). There is no version of Hospitable's booking engine that can be embedded inside your own website.

**What your site does.** Your property page collects dates and guest counts, then hands the guest off to Hospitable for payment.
