# Search filters reset on Back or refresh

Search filters on your site clear when a guest presses Back or refreshes the page. This is the current default behavior: filter state is not preserved across page navigation.

**What can be done.** Filter selections can be saved to the page URL or browser storage so that Back or refresh restores the previous search. If this matters for your site, contact support and describe the pages where it affects your guests.
