# Changing where Search Bar Pro sends searches

If your Search Bar Pro searches land on the wrong results page, the destination is set on the search bar's shortcode.

**Why this happens.** Each search bar has its own destination, set with the `submit_url` attribute on its shortcode. There is no site-wide results page setting to change. When `submit_url` is left off entirely, the search bar falls back to `/properties/`.

**To change the destination:**

1. Edit the page or template that contains the search bar.
2. Find the Search Bar Pro shortcode, which looks like `[homerunner_searchbar_pro mode="hero" instance_id="hero" submit_url="/properties/"]`.
3. Change `submit_url` to your listings page path, keeping the leading and trailing slashes, for example `submit_url="/listings/"`.
4. Save the page, then clear any page caching.

If your site has multiple search bars, each one is a separate shortcode with its own `submit_url`, and each needs to be updated.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
