# Zapier Zap not receiving inquiry webhooks

Your HomeRunner inquiry form sends a webhook to Zapier, but no records appear in your Zap. In almost every case the webhook is sent and accepted correctly, and the issue is on the Zapier side. Work through these checks in order.

**Check the delivery log.** Open the entry in the HomeRunner dashboard (**HomeRunner** menu, **Entries**, then click the entry). The **Delivery log** shows a webhook row for each inquiry with a status. A status of **Sent** means Zapier accepted the delivery with a success response, so the problem is not with the outgoing request.

**Confirm the Zap is turned on and published.** While a Zap is off or still in Draft, Zapier's Catch Hook can accept incoming requests with a success response and silently discard the payload. Nothing appears in Zap history even though the webhook was delivered. If the badge next to your Zap's name reads **Draft**, publish it. Once published, the Catch Hook URL accepts records permanently.

**Look for a 404 error.** If deliveries show a 404 error with the message "please unsubscribe me!", that is Zapier's standard response when the Zap behind the hook is switched off or its trigger was removed. Turn the Zap on, or supply the correct hook URL, then redeliver the affected inquiries as described below.

**Compare the hook URL.** If the Zap was ever rebuilt or its trigger step recreated, Zapier issues a new Catch Hook URL. Compare the URL shown in the Zap's trigger step with the one configured in **Inquiry Forwarding**, and update the configuration if they differ.

**Getting a sample record.** If you open the Catch Hook step's **Test** tab and the only stored record shows a single field reading _zap_data_was_skipped: true, the request arrived but the payload was not retained. To get a sample record, click **Find new records** and submit a form inquiry while that screen is open. Alternatively, you can skip the sample entirely by typing field names (such as email) by hand in the field mapping box, then publishing the Zap.

**Redelivering inquiries.** Once the Zap is published, you can resend inquiries that show a failed delivery from HomeRunner using the **Resend** button on the entry's delivery row. Inquiries that were accepted and dropped while the Zap was unpublished show as **Sent**, so contact support to have those redelivered. Redeliveries re-send the original payload with the same event ID.
