# Host reports 502 errors from HomeRunner endpoints

Your hosting provider may say that HomeRunner endpoints are overloading your server and causing 502 errors.

**Why this happens.** The HomeRunner REST endpoints may appear frequently in a host's URL summaries, but they are not themselves slow.

**What you can do.** Check your host's slow-query log before looking at URL counts. Queries taking tens of seconds identify the actual bottleneck. Send the host's full report to HomeRunner support, including both the slow-query section and the URL summary, so the slow-query data can be used to pinpoint the root cause.
