# Booking events missing from your GA4 property

Your GA4 property shows pageviews, but booking and purchase events do not appear.

**Why this happens.** Booking-funnel events (view_item, search, begin_checkout, purchase) need to be pointed at your own GA4 property. By default these events route elsewhere, so pageviews appear but booking activity does not.

**What you can do.** Contact support to have your GA4 property enabled for booking events. Once enabled, the events broadcast to every GA4 tag configured on the page, including yours. After support makes the change, check that events are arriving:

1. Open GA4 Realtime for your property.
2. Browse a few property pages on your site.
3. Confirm the events are arriving.

**Keep in mind.** Data collection starts fresh from the point of the change and cannot be backfilled. The purchase event needs to be marked as a key event inside your GA4 property for it to appear in conversion reporting.

**Matching purchases to reservations.** If you want purchases to tie back to reservations in your PMS, the transaction ID can be configured to use the PMS reservation ID. Contact support to request this as well.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
