# Changing hosting providers and HomeRunner

Moving your website to a new hosting provider does not affect HomeRunner, as long as the site is moved over intact. That means all files and the database are migrated and the site keeps the same domain.

**Why this works.** The booking engine is part of your WordPress site, so it moves with the site and keeps working. For a normal host migration, you do not need to reconfigure HomeRunner.
