# Guesty fee not offered as checkout add-on

You have set up travel insurance or another extra as an additional fee in Guesty, but your website checkout does not offer it as an optional add-on.

**Why this happens.** The booking engine only shows a Guesty fee as an optional add-on at checkout when that fee has the **Upsell on your website** option switched on in Guesty, with a description filled in. A fee that exists on the listing without that option is treated as a regular mandatory fee and never appears as a selectable add-on.

**How to fix it.**

1. Open the fee in Guesty, under **Financials** > **Additional fees**, or directly on the listing.
2. Enable **Upsell on your website**.
3. Add a short description.
4. Save.

Your website picks up the change on its next sync with Guesty. Once you have saved the setting, let support know and they can confirm the add-on is appearing correctly at checkout.
