# Guesty property renamed but old name still shows

You renamed a property in Guesty, but your website still shows the old name. Everything looks healthy and the sync reports success.

**Why this happens.** This is expected behavior for Guesty-connected sites. Property names and descriptions are handled by a separate part of the sync from the day-to-day data. A routine sync refreshes availability, pricing, and property details, but it does not re-pull the listing's public name, descriptions, or custom fields. A name change made in your PMS can therefore remain unreflected on the site.

**What you can do.** To pick up a renamed property, your site needs a content sync that specifically includes descriptions and custom fields.

1. Contact support and ask for a content sync for the affected properties.
2. Once the content sync runs, the new name appears on your site.
3. If your site also shows property titles in menus, cards, or search results, allow a few minutes and a cache refresh after the sync for those to catch up.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
