# Marker clustering: pins will not merge

You have marker clustering turned on, but the pins on your map still appear separately instead of merging.

**Why this happens.** Clustering is distance-based, so pins only combine when they are close together on screen. At a tight zoom level over widely spread properties, separate pins are the expected behaviour.

**What to check.** Try zooming out first. If the properties are genuinely close together and still do not cluster, check the following:

1. Confirm that the **Map Pins & Stacking** module is enabled in the **HomeRunner Toolkit** hub.
2. Confirm that no shortcode, block, or widget placement is overriding the cluster setting.
