# Promo Bar enabled but not showing

You have enabled the **Promo Bar** in **Conversion Kit**, but no bar appears on your site.

**Why this happens.** The Promo Bar tool is a container and ships empty. Enabling it only makes it available. The bar appears only when at least one campaign exists and is active.

**What you can do.** Create a campaign in the Conversion Kit admin. For the campaign, set a headline, optional supporting text, a button label and link, start and end dates, and the pages it targets.

The tool's own settings control defaults such as top or bottom placement, sticky behavior, and how long a dismissed bar stays hidden.
