# Customized archive-property.php not showing on listings page

You edit **archive-property.php** in the **Template Customizer** and it saves, but your property listings page does not change.

**Why this happens.** This is a known defect in Template Customizer versions up to Conversion Kit 1.139.5 and standalone Template Customizer 2.3.0. In those versions, the override applies only to individual property pages, so a customized archive-property.php is saved but never loaded on the listings page.

**What you can do.** The fix is in Conversion Kit 1.139.6 and standalone Template Customizer 2.3.1. Once your site is on one of those versions, your existing customized file loads automatically, with no further action needed.

If you need a workaround before updating, place archive-property.php in the root folder of your active (child) theme. HomeRunner honors that location ahead of its bundled template.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
