# Guesty tags not showing as website filters

You added a tag to a listing in Guesty, but it does not appear as a filter on your website.

**Why this happens.** Plain Guesty tags sync into a background tag list that the website does not display anywhere, so a plain tag does not surface as a filter. Tags only drive visible website features when they use a recognized prefix.

**What you can do.** Tags with the location prefix (for example "(l) Kahana") become Property Locations, and you can enable them as location filters in **Explorer Settings**. The "Featured" tag marks a listing as Featured.

For other filters, use a different field instead of a tag. To change what appears under the **Types of Place** filter, use the property-type custom field mapping. To add filterable features like Free Parking or Ocean View, use amenities.

Contact HomeRunner support to set up the right mapping for your account.
