# How travel insurance appears at checkout

When the **Travel Protection** module is enabled, travel insurance appears to your guests as a coverage card on the checkout page, directly after the guest details section. A plan summary is linked beneath the card.

The default selection is **Continue without travel insurance**, so the insurance fee is added only when a guest actively chooses coverage.
