# Sticky search bar maximum width

On large screens, your sticky search bar can stretch wider than you want when it opens. You can set a maximum width for it. This requires HomeRunner Toolkit version 3.321.0 or later.

1. In WordPress admin, go to **Toolkit > Searchbar Pro**.
2. Find the **Sticky bar maximum width** setting, located just below **Sticky bar top offset**.
3. Enter a width in pixels (for example, 900).
4. Save.

The pinned bar then opens no wider than that value and stays centered. The setting applies to both the homepage-style bar and the bar on listing pages.

**Restoring the defaults.** Enter 0. This sets the homepage-style bar to 890 px and the listing page bar to the full results column width.
