# Junk abandoned carts from property page views

Your cart-abandonment tool creates abandoned-cart records when visitors only view a property page, not when they enter the booking flow.

**Why this happens.** The **checkout_selector** in the cart-abandonment settings is incorrect. It matches an element that appears on every property page rather than only on the booking flow.

**What you can do.** Update to Conversion Kit 1.107.0 or later, which includes the corrected default selector. If you cannot update right away, manually change the **checkout_selector** value in the cart-abandonment settings to the current default. Either fix stops new junk carts from being created the same day.

Carts already sent to your email platform continue their journeys until you close or expire them in that platform.
