# Cancellation policy on the checkout page

The checkout page includes a **Cancellation Policy** section, but it only appears when there is policy content to display.

You can add this content in two places:

1. **Global setting:** go to **HomeRunner > Settings > Reservation** and fill in the cancellation fields (full refund days and terms, partial refund days and terms). These render as dynamic lines such as "Free cancellation before <date>" based on the guest's check-in date.
2. **Per-property setting:** edit the property in WordPress and fill in the **Cancellation Policy** field. This text appears on checkout for that specific property.

Once either field is populated, the **Cancellation Policy** card appears on the checkout page above the agreement checkbox, so your guests can review it before paying.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
