# Review Insights: setting up an OpenRouter key

The AI features in Review Insights need an OpenRouter API key. To set one up:

1. Create a key at openrouter.ai/keys. You need an OpenRouter account with a payment method.
2. Optionally, set a low spending cap on the key. Processing runs once per property and reuses the result until that property's reviews change, so usage is minimal.
3. Paste the key into **Conversion Kit → Review Insights → AI Configuration**.
4. Generate insights using the bulk processing controls on the same settings page to cover all properties, or use the **Generate Insights** button on an individual property.
