# SuiteOp custom domain for portal and guidebooks

In SuiteOp, the **Custom URL** panel (**Settings > White labeling > Custom URL**) lists two CNAME records. Both must exist in your domain's DNS before the **Add URL** button unlocks.

**Setting up the records.**

1. Create a CNAME for your chosen subdomain (for example, guests.yourdomain.com) pointing to app.suiteop.com.
2. Create a CNAME for _acme-challenge.guests.yourdomain.com pointing to the SSL validation target shown in the **Content** column of your SuiteOp panel.

The second value is unique to your account and is used to issue the SSL certificate. Copy it exactly from the panel rather than from a screenshot, because the value can be cut off on the right side.

**If you use Cloudflare or another proxying CDN.** Set both records to **DNS Only** (grey cloud, proxy off). SuiteOp's verification fails while the proxy is enabled, and the SuiteOp panel notes this.

**Verifying and activating.** Once both records are in place and resolving, return to the SuiteOp panel and click **Check DNS**. When both rows show as verified, the **Add URL** button unlocks. SuiteOp advises allowing up to 24 hours for the white-labeled portal to fully activate after that step.
