# Google Vacation Rentals with Guesty

If you have seen live pricing for hotels in Google search results, that pricing comes from Google Hotels, which is a hotel-only product. For vacation rentals, you need Google Vacation Rentals (GVR), which shows live rates and availability in Google Search, Maps, and Travel.

**Guesty-connected properties.** Guesty is the connectivity partner for GVR. You activate the integration inside Guesty under **Integrations > Distribution > Google Vacation Rentals**. You do not need any Google Business Profile or DNS changes.

**Prerequisites.** The main requirements are:

1. The property is eligible under Google's vacation rental categories.
2. The listing has at least 8 photos, with at least one per room.
3. The listing data in Guesty is complete.
4. The rate shown on your booking landing page matches the rate sent to Google (rate parity).

Your Guesty account representative is the right contact to coordinate activation.
