# Filtering the property explorer by Guesty tag

You can set the property explorer to show only properties that have a specific tag by adding a query parameter to the explorer page URL.

**How to filter.** Append the parameter to the URL of any page that contains the property explorer. Use `?tag=your-tag-slug` to filter by tag name or slug, or `?tag_id=123` to filter by the tag's numeric ID. For example: `https://yoursite.com/properties/?tag=beach-front`.

**Multiple tags.** To include more than one tag, separate them with commas, for example `?tag=beach-front,pet-friendly`.

**Important.** The `tag` parameter cannot be placed directly inside the shortcode itself. For example, `[homerunner-explorer tag="beach-front"]` does not work. The tag must be passed as a URL query parameter.
