# Connecting a dedicated Guesty API client

You can give HomeRunner its own API client in Guesty and connect it to your HomeRunner dashboard.

1. In Guesty, go to **Integrations**, then **API**, and create a new API client.
2. Copy the OAuth client ID and secret for the new client.
3. Enter them in your HomeRunner dashboard at dashboard.homerunner.io.

The swap takes effect immediately. These are Guesty OAuth credentials, separate from any booking-engine credentials.

After the swap, HomeRunner uses the new client exclusively. Any other tools still on the old client are unaffected.
