# Editing a translation with GTranslate

If a translated phrase on your GTranslate-powered site is wrong, you can correct it directly on the page.

1. Open your site and switch it to the language you want to fix.
2. Add **?language_edit=1** to the end of the page URL and reload the page. Pencil icons appear next to each piece of text.
3. Click a pencil, type the corrected text, and save. You are prompted to sign in with your GTranslate login.
4. Click **Close edit interface** when you are done.

A phrase corrected on one page is corrected everywhere it appears across the site.

Still stuck? [Contact the HomeRunner team](https://homerunner.io/contact/) with your site address and what you tried, and we take it from there.
