# Payment schedule wording at checkout

The **Due today** and remaining balance lines in the checkout payment schedule are controlled by the **Payment Split Notice** module in the HomeRunner Toolkit.

In the module's settings you can configure the deposit percent, the day threshold, and both label strings, for example 'Due today ({percent}):' and 'Due 60 days before check-in:'. No code changes are needed.

Labels render in bold, and the amounts display at normal weight. The amounts are derived from the booking total, so tax handling stays consistent.
