# Connecting your Streamline account to HomeRunner

HomeRunner connects to Streamline (StreamlineVRS) through Streamline's PartnerX program using a **Token Key** and **Token Secret**.

**Getting the credentials.** You do not generate these yourself. HomeRunner requests the token pair from Streamline on your behalf, and Streamline asks you, the account owner, to confirm approval, usually by replying to the same email thread. Once you approve, Streamline sends the credentials to HomeRunner.

**Adding the connection.** In the HomeRunner dashboard:

1. Go to **Connections**.
2. Choose **Add Connection**.
3. Select **Streamline**.
4. Enter the **Token Key** and **Token Secret**. The **API URL** is pre-filled.
5. Save. HomeRunner validates the credentials live when you save.

**Nothing to set up in Streamline.** There is nothing to configure in your Streamline account for the API connection itself. IP allow-listing is handled on the HomeRunner partner side, so you are not asked to whitelist anything.
